ALA Academy is proud to offer a structured Malayalam Language Learning Program for children across USA , aged 5 and above , for the 2022-2023 school year. In a bid to propagate our language, ALA partners with Malayalam Mission, a Government of Kerala undertaking, and incorporate their rigorous Teacher Training Program before the commencement of classes.

The program will follow the US school calendar; starting August 13th 2022 and finishing June 6th 2023 with all major breaks and holidays.Class sessions are one hour long, held virtually (using an online platform) on weekends with up to ten students per class.
Our classes are structured to fit all skill levels with evaluations conducted periodically in accordance with the requirements of Malayalam Mission for advancement to the next level.
Students have the opportunity to advance to the highest level in two years or less and earn a certificate from Malayalam Mission upon successful completion of requirements.
We hope that some of our second year students can complete “Kanikkonna Program” (proficiency equivalent to 3rd standard in Kerala education system) created by Malayalam Mission.
Registration is now open for all groups and will run through the month of July 2022. Begin your application using the google form. Classes start August 13th, 2022 and ends June 2023. Course calendar will be published shortly with important evaluation weeks and holidays.
